I need Help
My Xantia 1.8 8v 1993 drynk 12.5 litres on 100 km.

have you changed the air filter?, as this can affect fuel consumpion

Presumably it has an Oxygen sensor that is faulty and it is telling the brain (ECU) that the car is running too lean, as a result it's richening the mixture to compensate.

Or could be the coolant temperature sensor not working, and keeping it in the 'warm up' phase.

Thanks all
Air filter and Oxygen sensor is new, but my Xantia still fuel consumpion.
I thing Richard is right the coolant temperature sensor not working or
maybe air temperature sensor not working properly.

could be that your tyres are the wrong pressare?, or your brake pads are not "releasing" from the discs correctlly.
