where will i be able to locate the lift pump on my peugeot 406 hdi x reg and also is the clutch adjustable ont his model or will it need a new one? many thanks ron

Typically it will be fitted into the tank (around the sender area) , you may be able to see it under one of the round plastic covers under the rear seat (if you have them)

Clutch is self adjusting. What's wrong with it ? if it is dragging it 'might' just be air in the hydraulics (assuming hydraulic clutch)

the clutch is slipping so i assume as its self adjusting it will have to be replaced.

And from my experience, it's easier to remove the tank to change the lift pump.
99 406 HDi. (Mine)
