Hi guys,
any idea on what the play shoud be on the shock absorber cup bearing. At a stand still there is about 2mm between the two (cup & rubber) when the car is jacked up this play dissapears, seems logical, but is this play normal ?
Do I need to change the shock mounts ?
Thank for any advice ;.)

If you are refering to the rear suspension, the mounting rubbers for the shock absorbers should not have any play in them.
Any movement of the trailing arm during suspension activity MUST be transfered to the damper at the same time, 2mm of play at the lower damper mounting will probably equate to something like 10mm of undamped movement of the wheel.
