Who is the manufacturer of hydraulic components ?

Just a curiosity.
Found my old brake valve somewhere in the garage, replaced 6 years ago. No manufacturer's sign on it, just a letter g in a square, stamped on the valve body, and some numbers.
Who is/are the manufacturer of various hydraulic components for Citroen vehicles (HP pumps, height correctors, brake valves, pressure regulators etc). Is it Citroen itself, or someone else?

I have carried out various research into this subject in the past and concluded that HP pumps, flow valves, doseurs, pressure regs height correctors and spheres are made either in house by Citroen, or by a company that does not brand these componants or indeed sell them to the Aftermarket.
