Just totalled the passenger front door on my Xantia. Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between hatch back doors for both models?
Been offered a door from a mk1 by a scrapyard but don't want to waste time or money, got to have it sprayed and fitted!!!!

Just for clarity, are you asking if hatchback and estate doors are the same? or if hatchback doors changed between Mk1 & 2?
I put a Mk2 rear door on my Mk1 V6, and other than having to change over the window motor assembly there was no problem. I thought that the front doors were different (mk1 to mk2) because the armrests are mounted differently, but I have not tried it.

As Jim states the internals are different so you'll have some adaptations to do to make the door card to fit if you're using a Mk 1 door on your HDi, I think the door locks may also be different so you'll have to swap those over as well.A1d1e wrote:It's a 2.0 HDi Forte, Red. I'm based in Sheffield and have been assured by French Spares in Ranskill that Mk1 & 2 front doors are same.
