bosch diesel fuel pump
my citroen synergie has a bosch diesel pump with a key pad immobiliser will a bosch pump off a later vehicle with a immobiliser in the ignition key fit with no problems,if not what needs to be done to make it work

Yes and no.
It will fit but you will need all the wiring and ECU associated with that type of immobiliser, along with the transponder aerial around the ignition barrel. Its not as simple as it seems so there is a fair bit of wiring to do to make it work.
A sensible option is to deamour your pump or deamour a replacement (being either keypad or transponder) , then you do not have to worry. This is my preferred idea and what I would do.
If you really wanted to keep the keypad, obtain another pump that came of a keypad model, and ensure you have the keypad code (before you buy)
