Renault Diagnostic Equipment

Hi

Im useually in the Citroen Section, but slowly gettting thrown into Renault wih work..

Im after the "Best But Cheapest" renault diagnostic software??

I was wondering if anyone knows would the software work with a Citroen Lexia Scanner, or do I need the hardware aswell as the software? What do you reccomend???

I've got one of these:

While it's designed for remapping ECU's on the RS range, I think it's capable of reading/clearing fault codes on other models. Email to double check this though, the chap's name is Henk and he knows his stuff. There are often second hand units available on Renault car club forums for about £100.

Renault CLIP is the equivalant of Lexia, Unfortunitely the Lexia interface is not compatible & it needs the specific interface.
There are plenty of chineese clones kicking about on ebay.
