That's quality

Speaking of mileage, I dug out the MOT certificate for Robyn's 206 as it's soon due and according to said certificate it's done 522,243 miles

A couple of fat fingers on the part of the MOT tester there. It had done just 52,000 miles...

What's the German (or Russian) for "Barry Boy" ? That's want initially came to mind looking at this listing!!!

Well, it runs like one Steve :D

I can't honestly see how a 1.4 petrol 206 can notch up that sort of mileage before dying of it...

Go on, tell me of one that has. Go on

I know of none with that sort of mileage other than a SAAB 900 with >1,000,000 genuine miles on it. Took 17 years to clock that lot up though.

I think he means he's covered it in the sort of stuff Eddie Stobart use to livery their truck fleet and the stuff the Police use on their cars to make them look like psychedelic chess-boards.

The AA and BSM uses it on their driving instructor cars. The great thing about it is that it peels off when the vehicle in question has done its time, leaving pristine (ish) paintwork underneath.

I guess it can also hide a multitude of sins too.. Caveat Emptor

vinyl is now used to effectivly respray cars, like with signwriten vans.
As jim says when your done you just peel it off and no harm done, it actualy protects the paint underneath.
The other advantage to a vinyl wrap is you can have strange patterns done very cheaply http://www.carwraping.com/gallery.asp

Car got BMW wheels 225/50 R17 which make it look like a aircraft. Wheels is born to run on this car pretty fast and safe
I must look out for planes wearing those! :?

Ive been in Xantias with over 500K, as you can imagine, a little worse for wear but they were still driving fine. Two of which were Taxis and were still in use at the time.

I was talking to a Taxi driver who had a fleet of C5s, he claimed that he had very few problems with any but put them off the road at around 350-400K miles as they start to get a bit tatty by then

There used to be a Sierra Taxi in town which was in the papaer at one point after covering over 1000000 miles, it then went on to say how many engines it had gone through.
