Long journey tomorrow. Washing car today and noticed, near the bottom of the front of the nearside rear wheelarch, a square patch, a bit like a black plaster. It had raised away from a white plastic plug underneath and came away when I touched it.
I haven't noticed this before. What's under the white plug and is there any significance that the black plastic cover has lifted?
.

I think you're asking about the body shell plug which I also have first seen on a scrap car.
If it's a square shaped plastic then it should be item called
ENTR POST PLUG 48,4X48,4 and it has even part number as 96 130 325
edit: in mine it's hidden under a thick layer of underbody coating.
