zx windscreen wiper

I have an 1996 zx estate, in the last few days the intermittent windscreen wiper has stopped working. it works ok on the second position normal speed, ok on fast, ok on down pos, single sweep, ok on wash. i think it could be the relay but in the owners manual or the haynes manual it dosnt tell which relay it is. there are a few relays behind the fuse box under the steering but none are labeld. does anyone know if it is a relay,location etc. many thanks tony.

I don't know which relay it is, but sometimes you can feel the relay operating if you put your finger on top of the relay. Also, before buying a new relay, you could try re-seating the relay in it's socket, in case it's just a bad connection. Disconnect the battery first, for safety. I don't normally take the relay all the way out, just move it in and out a bit.
