Hi all Newbie here
I have a 2003 dispatch 2.0 hdi, driving home today the brake pedal has gone very hard and can only just stop the van.
Feels like there is no servo asisstance?
Pulled off the pipe to the vaccum pump and the pump is sucking i would off though it would of come off with a phsssss sound but nothing?
The brake fluid level is ok and checked all the other vaccum pipes for splits, and the large one to the servo, all ok.
Anyone had this problem before?
Many thanks Neil

Hi all
Vaccum pump ok, valve ok.
In the process of changing servo unit, have removed the master cylinder, removed left engine mount and dropped down engine to access brake bar and undone. Unbolted 4 nutson servo plate holding it on and undone brake bar at right hand side, can pull servo forward but cannot disengage link from servo as i am doing it from feel as no room, there is a pin holding it in with a clip does anyone know how to remove clip and pin as i am stuck.
Any advise would be ace.
Cheers Neil
