I tried to start our Activa the other day but the battery was flat.
When I let go of the key both the speedo and rev counter flipped right round and went off the scale.
After I jump started it and took it for a run, the speedo has corrected itself but the rev counter hasn't, it's still stuck right round, well past the top mark on the dial so that it's touching the bottom of the plastic cover.
I've tried the technical tap on the dashboard with the car running to see if it'd shake it free but it hasn't done.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this which might save me taking the dials right out of the car?
Thanks
David.
