Help from Chinese Lexia owners

Post by JohnD »

I've been trying to get my Lexia working. It appears that it's loaded OK on the laptop but when I try to activate, it asks for an RRDI code. The pages I've printed off tell me that the RRDI code is 001 but when I enter that, I get an error message saying it's an invalid code. Where am I going wrong?

I can't remember what the code was called within the program, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, then I had to enter GB0001. The activation thing said CH0001 but the seller told me GB0001 which is the one I think I entered.

CH0001 here, too. They're zeroes, not capital owes.

Thanks you two - but I've tried both codes and it's still coming up with "invalid code". Any other suggestions.

To the best of my knowledge, I've never had to enter such a code on mine. When does it ask for it? And what software version are you using? Just a thought, is Windows seeing the hardware correctly?

My Lexia software is Ver 45, it asks for this code in the keygen, also asks for other info:-
Customer code
Identifier of your PC
Number version
Server request code
My customer code is 001
The number version in my case must be entered as LEXIA-345 NOTHING AFTER THE 345
This keygen then gives you the 32 hex digit code to activate the Lexia.

Interesting John. CD42 just has a (from memory) 6 digit code to activate it, all combinations of which are handily supplied on a piece of paper with the unit! Never got around to installing my CD45, and it's sounding like I never will. It's no benefit to me anyway at the moment.

How are you getting on with your unit?

Hi James, I was supplied with an older version of the software as well not sure what version it is, this version has a text file with it in the form of questions and answers, to activate the software it aske a question and you look up the answer to that question in the text file, it is a 4 or 6 digit answer, this version is very easy to activate.
I am still struggling to understand just what Lexia is telling me.
John

Just as an aside I was running my Laptop off a inverter plugged in to the 12volt supply between the two front seats, it must have overloaded the inverter, I heard a crack it must have been the fuse blowing I did not realise at the time anyway the Laptop was still working but it would no longer communicate with any ECU the point being the fuse that feeds this 12v supply between the seats must also feed the diagnostic socket.

This is a copy of the text file I received with LEXIA-345

This KeyGen is a activation tool for LEXIA3 (same tool as the pp2000)

1. Custome code: 001
2. Software Version Number: LEXIA-345
*Attention: Please DO NOT iuput Other Version number such as LEXIA3-345.12 !
3. Input the right identifier of your pc number & Server request code that you get in the LEXIA3 activetion page
