showroom shine

Post by meexi »

Has anybody used the Showroom Shine that is advertised on the Ideal World shopping channel?

Is it any good as the demonstrations show that it is the `Bees Knees`

Thoughts anyone?

Sounds good, do you have to use any energy applying it?

I've used it a lot since seeing it on that channel.

I've found it to be really good. The shine lasts a long time.

I've used it on several cars and you can do the whole car in about 20 mins without getting soaking wet.

I first used it on my C5 and the chaps at work were amazed how good it looked.
Cheers, Kev

This stuff is definately the best.I use it on all my cars.

It's easy to apply and you don't leave any residue or white dust like other polishes.

I've just done my classic Wolseley in preparation for show at the weekend. And it's absolutely dazzling.

Took about thirty minutes including all the chrome and glass, you only need to use one bottle to do everything.

Apparently, 'Proshine' is exactly the same stuff, but cheaper.

its true, Vince can probably get the same level of shine using an old rag and a bar of soap. ;)

Looks as though you hit the quote button instead of the edit button then deleted the [/quote] part of the code.

they sell this stuff in Focus next to a TV set advertising the stuff, it is £9.99 a bottle what a waste of good money.

exersize your elbows wash and wax your car properly it'll only take you at the very least five hours

or you could go to the car wash and collect some of the dirt and grit from the only 4X4 used off road in front of you.

that stuffs ok if your out to cruse the town on a friday night and impress the dolly birds with your stereo typical lowered Ford, dragging your ass over the speed bumps with four hundred and forty watts of Boom Boom Boom making your ears bleed internally.

if you want to keep your car shiney wash it in the rain, it has the same effect as using the jet wash with the softened water used to rinse the car it makes it shine when its dry.

I'm conVinced.

Years ago, I was out and about early one morning and passing a line-up of cars for sale in a forecourt. The guy cleaning them dripped a bit of 3-in-1 oil in the water!
Their cars always looked sparkling.

In my youth, every Saturday you would see Mr Proud car owner outside polishing his pride and joy, not just a wash, the full works, as a result many cars would be displaying patches of high gloss primer after a few years.

Between those who had cars, which were fewer than owned houses in those days, there would be a mutual admiration society, if someone in your street bought a new car it would be the highlight of the week, or more, for most other people.

How times have changed!

Fancy seeing you here, Peter!

It was always a weekend job, wasn't it? I always use Mer as it's quite good and quite cheap.
