Torx bit size ZX balljoint...?

Torx bit size ZX balljoint...?

Hi All,

Does anyone know the Torx bit size for the bottom ball joint on a 1995 ZX?

I have to get myself a Torx set and want to make sure this size is in it.

As far as I can remember, there are no torx bolts on the lower ball joint on a ZX. The three bolts holding the joint to the lower arm are M8, hex 13mm head. The pinch bolt in the hub assy is M10, 17mm heads and nut. Unless somebody changed them! :shock:

They've certainly changed them on mine! The three lower bolts are definitely Torx. I had to change a driveshaft a while ago and managed to get round the problem using Mole grips, etc, but as with most things in life, it's much better if you use the right tool...! 8-)

yep they are but i cant remember for the life of me what size they be, they are either T30 or T40, the pug 306 has the same,
