Lexia meanings

Post by MikeT »

Is there a glossary or similar for the cryptic messages given by my Diaxia?

Last night, my engine lamp illuminated occasionally while driving it hard. From previously noted symptoms, I suspect fuel starvation/restriction is the reason and will investigate when the tank's a little less full (unless it becomes a more serious problem).

The ECU has stored the fault and Lexia tells me, when in the Engine Diagnostic, Fault Code Reading;

INTERMITTENT FAULT = ADJUSTMENT OF MOTION

I guess this is referring to the timing solenoid input not comparing with the lift sensor output and a clean up of the fuel system will probably solve it though I am also seeing possible symptoms of a bad earth to engine.

Incidentally, is it normal for the lift sensor to show (in the engine parameter section) 1.0v when the engine is off but ignition on?
