Contacting members

Is there a more efficient way to find a member to send them a PM then trawling through countless pages of members. If their name is in the "M"s you are stuffed as it only shows a couple of pages in front.

Why not try putting the user name into the search field at the top of the homepage and their name for the author. If you don't have their exact name
you're looking at longwinded trawling through the memberlist!
