Both our Xantias have had ABS problems. Electronic diagnosis a complete waste of money as was replacing the same sensor on the petrol estate twice in 2 years.
The REAL cause on both cars was corrosion in the ECU cable plug/socket. Cure? Switch cleaner and a careful clean, followed by a good spray with WD40 to keep salty spray at bay.
