WAY HAY ticket for another year

Post by Stempy »

:D :D :D :D :D Passed MOT with flying colours, no advisories, only that I spent too much money on it and it's time I got a new car   Testers were almost drooling over it though
It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right

You don't necessarily need a Lexia to see whats wrong with the ABS Mike

Both our Xantias have had ABS problems. Electronic diagnosis a complete waste of money as was replacing the same sensor on the petrol estate twice in 2 years.

The REAL cause on both cars was corrosion in the ECU cable plug/socket. Cure? Switch cleaner and a careful clean, followed by a good spray with WD40 to keep salty spray at bay. :D
