HI ALL, I imported a Xantia last year,it may be the only one in Canada. Recently the damned right strut top failed, and speared the bonnet. A relative in Britain is willing to get the parts needed to fix the car, a 1994 vsx,2.0l 8valve,auto....ser.no#VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. My request is for someone to provide the part numbers of strut tops l&r for this car. My relatives live in Newport Pagnell. Any info concerning reliable vendors in this area and the above part numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,Dave m

Perrys Peugeot dealer in Bletchley across from Tescos and Matalan is the place to get them from, they're just over £100 each.
Someone will be along in a bit with the part numbers :)

Sorry I'm flipping to and fro screens and cut'n pasting on my iPhone - this gives you:

5271 E5 RIGHT
- POWER STEERING AND HYDRACTIVE SUSPENSION (+ 5271 92 (01) TO O 7244)

By right I trust you mean the timing belt side of the engine bay?

Many thanks to Xac & admcit for your help. I imported the car from Japan in really good condition with 63,000 kms on the clock. Aside from that I know nothing of its history. There is no rust on the strut tops and no obvious signs of immediate rubber failure. That is what happened however. After examining the failed part it seems to have been designed by someones nephew. laugh here!
