BX Brake light switch!?

Post by R9UKE »

Hi,

Anybody had any experience with this?

Just been told that the brake lights on my 1992 BX 19 TXD only come on with harsh braking! I see the switch at the top of the pedal, just cannot work out how on earth it works or is adjusted :?

Cheers :)

Unless the switch has been modified at some point, it is held in place by two locking nuts on a long thread, the switch at the bottom of the threads, simply slacken the nuts and reposition so that contact is made when the pedal is depressed, then retighten the nuts.

Job done!

Fixed! As long as you are around to share your knowledge, BX ownership shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks!
