is this pipe should be connected to anywhere? its dripping coolant though..
some help please :?

Looks like an expansion pipe for the coolant. Are you over-filling the system? Are you needing to top-up? You shouldn't need to top-up unless you have a leak or you have left a bit of air in the fluid after a change.
Taste the drip and you'll know if it's antifreeze.

{forgot}..................

Also check seal in radiator cap is not damaged and that the cap is seating properly.

i just topped up the system after fixing some minor leak at the pipe. if i do overfilled, should i be worried? what are the consenquences?

If you overfill it just comes out of that pipe you have pointed at, it's just an overflow pipe much like on a toilet cistern..

need some advise.. there is still drop of coolant from the same pipe after few days.. & it seems alot too.. but the temperature is between normal 80~90.. it worries me as im gonna take it for a long trip this weekend..

Could be the head gasket.... :(

Try this. Engine cold, remove the cap. Does it hiss? Refit the cap, run the engine for 30s, stop engine, remove cap. Does it hiss? Leave cap off restart engine, look in the header tank, are there bubbles rising up into the tank?

Answer to any of the above 3 = yes then HG is FUBAR :roll:
