C5 Remote Key Fob

I only received 1 keyfob with this C5 but I have obtained another fob from a scrapped car, I can have a key cut to fit my car and this fob, is it possible to have this fob re-programmed to work with my car.

Yes it is but you will need a Lexia, there will be someone on the forum near you willing to help im sure.

I am awaiting a replacement Lexia from China but as the first one did not work I am unsure if the Lexia will do this, I thought there were some functions that these Clones will not perform.

I have not tried on mine but i think they will do most things including key programming

Been there; done that. Here's how it went. I had one of my two keys stolen. I bought another one off ebay for around 9quid. Not bad I thought. I got a key cut in the high street and switched it to the bought plip. I took it to the Cit dealer with the car and cards and asked him to programme it. After two days, he said he couldn't. No Charge! Eventually, I had a mobile locksmith look at it. After spending almost 90 minutes with it, he managed to get my new key to start the car, but was unable to get it to work the central locking.
