V6 aux belt crank pulley

Post by Stempy »

The pulley is slipping and needs replacing, is it just held on by the four M8 bolts or do I need to remove the centre bolt?
It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right

That one is, once you've released the auxillary belt tensioner and removed the RH mudshield that is!

The former is easy enough as long as you have the requisite spanners and the latter is easy if the bolts aren't seized; they so often are unless regularly disassembled and greased well..
