Ride height by a rule of thumb (or finger
) can be checked thus:
At the front you should be able to insert three fingers between the top of the tyre and the wheelarch lip. At the rear one finger should fit.
That assumes average fingers
Ride height is critical to good ride comfort.

you need to make 200% sure all the turrets at both front and rear H/C's are fully free, before you adjust anything,
you cant check there free movement properly without removeing them from the car,
its not the H/C itself that seizes, its the two turrets attatched to the H/C mountting brackets that seize,
