Hi,
I have 1 other problem with my new car. That is the cd multichanger system.
Does anyone know how long is the maximum amount of time you should give these systems to reset?
The previous owner put new battery on mine in Jan and the stereo system hasn't worked since.
I have spoken to citroen, I have the code. Citroen say I have to leave the key on the first notch up on ignition, the stereo comes on with 4 dotted lines through middle of display. I am supposed to leave it like this until 'code in' appears on the display (can take 1 to 2 days?), and then enter the code.
I have left the stereo like citroen say but at 11pm tonight is over 24 hrs.
Should I keep on waiting???
Any help is appreciated,
Steve

Citroen Xantia 2.0l SX 1998 cd changer
Have fixed the problem now. You have to leave key in ignition position 1 and then push bnd, then leave like that for over an hour, then it will say code in, u can then unlock system with code.
Thanks for help,
Steve
