light stalk

hi guys i would like to know if it possable to change just the light stalk on the comms 2000 on the steering wheel as i have the normal problem of lights on when using indicators ive been to a scrapy and seen plenty of c5, with the light stalk removed but cant see how its done any one have any ideas oh and my cars a 51 c5 2.2 hdi

The only replaceable parts on the com2000 are the cruise control stalk & the radio control stalk, the rest of it is a sealed unit.

It IS possible to dismantle the sealed unit further - I did it when I was messing around trying to get the display button on the end of the wiper stalk working properly. But I was on tenterhooks all the time it was apart and I really wouldn't recommend it.
