Fitting it should be a 30 minute job, but ended up taking 3 hours.
If you do buy a cheap filter, check the alignment of the Gas pressure sensor on the downstream side of the pipe. If its not square to the pipe, and/or the flange at the front end then send it back, or proceed with extreme caution. You'll have the devils own job fitting the sensor pipe to it. Mine was out of kilter in so many ways that I eventually cross threaded it (bear in mind I am a trained mechanic). After cleaning up the threads the only way I could get it on was to fit the sensor to the filter first, then the filter to the Cat, then the back end of the exhaust....Neighbours must have worried about all the expletives coming out from under my car!
