Partner cd player locked.

Hello.
I'm trying to figure out how to unlock my cd player. It's a 2002 partner combi and all it will do is light up saying "9 error".
There are no manuals with the van so I'm totally blind.
Any advice and if I take it to Peugeot will they charge me the earth?

I think error 9 means its locked (as in the code has been entered too many times)

You can try unplugging it for a few hours to see if that helps (I do not think it will, but it does not cost to try)

can this be sorted with a DIAG 2000 setion, if so were abouts are you as i have a DIAG 2000,
