Xantia Mk2 CD Changer advice

Post by admiral51 »

Hi All
I have now fitted a genuine Xantia stereo to my 2.1TD (Thanks Chris570 :D )
It is one that is compatable with a CD Changer.
On the MK1 4030 units there was a plug that was situated under the drivers seat for the changer to be plugged into but no seperate socket on the headunit itself.
On the MK2 unit, there is a round 13 pim din socket that i assume is for the changer. Is it just a simple case of getting the correct changer and then connecting the two together. Will the changer be powered through the din socket or is it a lot more complicated :)

Cheers

Simple plug and play, the lead powers the changer and operates it via the head unit.
