...I'm gonna have to replace the lower arms and track rod ends as she's sloppy as and old slapper at the front and stands not a hope in hell of passing the MOT in August.

So the question is are the V6 items the same as all the others. I haven't got the time/inclination/tooling to replace the bushes so I'll have to fork out for a pair of complete arms. Can only seem to find one type of arm available but there are two types of track rod end listed on GSF, unsurprisingly, neither of which mention the V6. Will attempt to fit new ARB bushes at the same time. This is a job I have been fearing for some time and am almost tempted to put it into a garage

The lower wishbone arms will be the same on all Xantiae barring the Activa
and according to Euro Car Parts the price isn't horrid:

yet the trackrods check out differently between the models for applications:

I was wondering about whether Activa wishbones are different, I assumed they must be as they require a mount for the ARCS linkage, but from what I can see on the servicebox, they all use the same wishbones???

Activa ones definatly have the extra hole for then arcs system, i've had to play around with both of mine recently for front wheel bearing replacements...

Depends on the driving. I like hard corners and live in an area where the roads don't get speed humps as the potholes save the council money so they get eaten up on older cars i drive much quicker than a newer car :(

These bush's are a common failure on the Pug 306's, and employ a similar layout, but I think the 306 had a slightly narrower track, and shorter arms, besides, the lower ball joints are different.

My Xantia finally needed one at 215k or so IIRC, I put a nice low milage 80k one on, I now need to do a bottom ball joint and a track rod end..

I cant remember if I replaced the opposite side bottom arm at the same time as the other.. I think it was the passenger side one that went first - the one that gets all the pot holes.
