307 - multifunction display

Post by sooty »

1) The multifunction display has gone dim on oneside whether the lights are or off.

Is there a back light LED behind the display ?

Yes, its very easy to repair, or on the C5 it is anyway.

You need to get the display out, not sure how that is done on a 307 but on a C5 the front cover pulls off and there are some screws holding in the display.

There are three bulbs in the back of the display. Just turn them and they pull out. They do pull out of the holders so you can replace just the bulb.
