hi all i managed to buy that xantia from ebay the winning bid was £315 but the winning bidder didnt contact the seller so he contacted me and managed to get it for £240 what a buy it failed the mot with a broken anti roll bar linkage so i replaced it for £15.87 from gsf it now has an mot just trying to get the tax sorted.
The only other problem is that it sits quite low at the back end are there any things i should look at before i change the spheres.
Yipee i have the xant lets i hope i keep her this time

Not saying that the spheres are any good, but they won't be causing the height to be wrong.

Look for a disconnected or broken plastic link on the rear height corrector, AND expect the height corrector pivots to be rusted and seized. Lots of posts on this forum about this issue.

That happened to me when I bought my first TD but I refused the second chance offer because the winning bidder wasn't valid (shill bidder IMO) which obviously raised my bid needlessly so I told the seller to re-auction it and I won it for £100 less 8-)

Nice buy..

A Synergie is nice, but, now you're fully hydraulic.

Which Xantia do you have?

In front of the rear centre sphere. This rather basic guide contains a line drawing of the mechanisms (front & rear).

If you search the forum for 'height adjuster' you will find a wealth of information.
