Am I right in thinking that the status "1" means ON or ACTIVE/ENERGISED?

So if it's showing Fast Idle = 1, the engine should idle normally and not fast (assuming everything is working as it should)?

Answering my own questions again.

I got confused seeing Fast Idle ON when the engine was up to temperature but it actually means the Fast Idle has been cancelled due to the way the Bosch pump works.
