hey all,, i was wondering,, will the front grill without chevrons fit a 2.1td? ive seen a few on ebay but some say not suitable for td models... is that correct?

All the first generation of Xantiae grilles are the same fitment before the
facelift bonnet incorporated the grille in it's nose. Obviously the moulding
is different on these first gen ones dependent on whether you want support
for the chevrons or not.

An early grille without the twin >> will look odd on a late car sans bonnet
chevrons though - no identity from the front!!

What colour grille are you after as guys here may well have one the right
colour ready to plug'n play?

im looking for a silver one.... Andrew, how do i add my vehicle details to my profile like everyone else has so people will know what car i have, and am talking about most the time... mine is a r reg 2.1td vsx silver

Hi, silver isn't a colour I have spare but someone out here will likely have
one! The additional signature info can be added after selecting "profile" from
the top masthead of the forum. Same for an avatar side picture too!
