I have a xantia 1.8 1999 petrol and when i change gear or slow down the engine cuts out i get blue smoke sometimes when i restart it but just as quickly this problem starts it stops and get no more trouble....any ideas

P.S. when car is idle it cuts out unless i keep the revs up.
