I mean, I start the Xantia up and have to wait for the suspension to achieve correct status...

What did the French police do? Just set off in pursuit with rock hard suspension?

The suspension keeps pressure and ride height even when parked for a long time.
They wouldn’t notice anyway because the only emergencies are when the bottles of plonk are empty. Image
