Is that the 2.0 8v turbo unit ?

406 SRi for sure. The one with the 'interesting' seat and door panel trim. :D

Some 406 2.0 exec's, I cannot remember which way around, the first two years of production had the 2.0 8v turbo then they just used the normal 2.0 16v n/a, I though the other way around but I'm 99% sure its early (as in 96 and some 97) = 8v turbo, later than that = normal 2.0 16v n/a unit

Some 605's although I am not sure if the UK model had the turbo unit.

I do not think the 405 or 306 ever had this unit, certainly not from the factory. The rare Mi 4x4 405 had the 16v unit iirc.

Hope that's a bit of help.
Andy.

91 205D-Turbo, gone but still missed
02 106D, TUD5B, gone but not really missed apart from the MPG

Absolutely Andy, the 405 Mi16 and 4X4 had the legendary Mi16 engine as found in the BX GTi 16V "Valver". The XU9J4 all-alloy unit.

A good few 306s have received the 2.0 CT as a transplant later in life though, along with some receiving a 3.0 V6

Designation of the 2.0CT is XU10J2CTE with the engine code of RGY (early) or RGX (Later) RGYs are usually found in pre-'96 cars and develop a little less urge than the RGX.
