are these boot liners any good?

Post by spikelspouse »

my dad has just bought a lovely 2008 c5 and was looking for something to keep the back end tidy because my mum always gets him to take things to the dump.

after doing a bit of looking we found these http://www.bootsliners.co.uk/C5-BOOT-LINERS/

they look like a pretty good thing but just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them? at that price they seem good value!

I keep a plasic tarpaulin in the boot - cost a couple of quid, and does the job fine :)

Yes - I've had one in my cargo area since the car was new. Well worth the outlay. Keeps the fitted carpet clean and unworn. Easy to pull the rubber mat out and give it a hose down.

I have an old section of carpet from when we had our laminate floors put in. Cut it well over size and then cut diagonals into each corner so the floor fits perfectly and there is a good riser each side of at least a few inch's. Its not water proof or good for spills really but keeps most muck off the carpet and is much cheaper and just pull it out, shake it and then put it back in :)

Plus when i pull it out i can use the hoover on it much easier.

£30 aint a bad price for something that is made to fit very well :)

I could do with one but havent got round to getting on yet.

Is your dadas C5 a S1 facelifted C5 or the newer 'germanic' C5? 2008 is in the middle of the old one ending and new new one being launched.

Citroen boot trays seems very expensive, have you looked on the citroen website under accessories? I cant remember how much now but its near £100 for a boot tray!
