Hi
Normally says in the handbook how to reset the service indicator, It does in my C5 one.
I think all the radios are now coded to the VIN of the car, it has to match the VIN in the BSI too so you would need it put on a computor, either main dealer or if there is a LEXIA member near they might be willing to do it for you. Some radio repairers cay they can code the radio to you VIN but not tried this.
Where are you located??

It can be done no problems & its certainly not hell if you have a little bit of knowlege of car electrics. You do not need any diagnostic equipment to do it either.the grange wrote:live in west sussex south coast .
im looking if im honest to put my alpine stereo in the c3 but have heard it can be hell doing it
Check this link (& the link within the link) > http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... ftermarket . Its for different models but the same applies to the C3, The difference being your C3 will likely be full CAN multiplexed meaning it will have the newer quadlock style radio connector rather than ISO so you will need an adaptor.

Your display might mention auto lights etc when you turn them on, however the centre display will not be effected by adding an aftermarket radio. Yes your radio stations etc wont show up on the cars large central display, but your cars warnings/displays will still show up as normal.
If your C3 has steering mounted radio controls, these might not work, you might need another wire or some radios/cd players dont support this feature.
Your C3s radio is coded to your car, if you remove it and stick it back in at a later date the car with recognise its radio without having to input a code.
