106 glow plugs

Hi,
How often should the glow plugs be changed on the 106 1.5d Escapade 1996 model. It is on the 66,000 mile mark and they were changed 6,000 miles ago. I have no problem starting (touch wood) so is this necessary/what is the norm?

There's no need to change them until you find that the engine becomes reluctant to start. Glowplugs can go for many thousands of miles, on the other hand, they sometimes go quickly.
