Adapter, steering wheel controls clarion Xantia X2

Right... my radio/CD is driving me up the wall... refusing to read the cd's..
So it has to go.
Now.. can anybody tell me where to get an adaptor that will fit the socket in the car?.. (clarion old style remote) .. and connect to say a new clarion unit? preferably online.
I got an adaptor that would supposedly go with a panasonic player that I had laying about.. but of cause it didn't ...

Yep..that is where I bought my last one... but I was hoping to hear from people that had actually gotten one that worked

hi Krede, I got a sony mp40 mp3 cd player headunit.. and it works in the xant with the steering wheel buttons..

I am 99% sure i got the autolead adapter to get the buttons and the sony to talk..

There was at least one other headunit from sony that would work, GTX40 or something.,

although the colour scheme is all messed up, its perfect for that car otherwise
