BURNING OIL

Would the cat convertor remove the blue oil burning smoke from the exhaust gases.

I doubt it and if it did, it would only be until the cat choked up as this is one reason I have been given for failures of catalytic converters; oil contamination.
Another reason also given for not trying to tow start a car fitted with a cat is that the unburnt fuel & oil will cause its demise.
