306 power probs.

Hi all,

Wonder if anybody can help with the wife's 306?
it's had lack of power for a while, and yesterday gave up the ghost going up a hill. After about 10 mins off it went again with ecu? light on. got mechanic mate around with his fault machine and it's came up with code po 0/o?c8.
Appar. it's a peugeot code,so wondered if anybody knew what that code was?

it's 2.0 diesel.

Thanks Colin, That'll be the HDi engine then.

I know zero about them sadly but I'm sure one of our HDi-savvy correspondents will be along very shortly...
