eco button fault

hi i have a problem with the air con on my c5 when first starting the eco button is lit and works fine but after a few seconds the button goes off, also i have no control over the blowers once this has happened? they still work but cannot turn up or down can anyone help.

is the control module the one by the clutch pedal by the heater in the drivers footwell it has a block of 4 wires and a block of 2 wires coming off it if is that one i have told its about fifty quid from the dealers? thanks
