hi
my c5 is running rough took missus up to manchester on way home lost power and it was "stuttering "like a petrol engine miss firing
yes anothr problem with my car 52 plate 29000 miles
bought it 6 weeks ago only ha it 15 days! crap garage great car
anyone help every time i take it back they give me a crappy bmw and it stinks like a buiders bottom !

Best bet would be to get in touch with a good indepentant who specialise in PSA stuff and get it on a lexia computer, that should tell you whats going wrong. Most likely a faulty sensor somehwere.

well being a fitter myself i decided to replace fuel filter , did this it wasnt the cleanest one i ever took off,fitted new one now doesnt blow white smoke that leared up.
still stuttering tough, so off to the garage monday,i honestly think thi is a great car, anyone wanna vote whos not on my christmas card list ??????????????????????????????
owned car since march had it 17 days so far rest in garage,so going back gain ,............ 7 visit i just hope i dont get the bmw again,its sucks

I think I would be looking at the MAF, before anything else.

Try spraying it with carb cleaner but be very careful with it, they are extremely delicate.

Yep, thats what i would be leaning towards too. A MAF doesnt last forever, i just replaced one on one of our C5s. Though dont buy after market MAF sensors, they dont work in my expereince. Citroen only, £100 for the part.

yeh was just thinking about the maf .... car 7 years old 29000 gen miles would of thoght it would have lasted longer though.... theres a whine when revved and i can see bubbles in the pipe form the filter to the pump mmmmmmm hope pumps not kerput but its uner warranty ,anyway today dropped it into garage again to sort out . oh i didnt get the bmw i got a n reg zx aura turbo .... 100000 miles but goes like a rocket lol
more news to follow in a bit and thanks people for some great advice cheers

got car back thursday its all done mate been up m6 everything ok now its all yours ...............
started up drove off
stil the same !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorting it mysef now pigtail pipe from filter to pump on order

went back to garage tuesday rover 400 petrol curtesy car ............s**T
WED yeah mate theres definatly a fuel starvation problem ................. I DID TELL YOU TW WEEKS AGO!!!..............
STILL IN
NARROWED IT DOWN TO ONE OF TWO PIPES MANUAL LIFT PUMP Or bukhead feed pipe

can someone just say all this sh1 t is worth it

Is this a bosch or siemens injection system ? is there a hand primer for the fuel in the engine bay ?

got car back last week it was the maf sensor ............ run for a day but in the repair they broke off the pipe from injector that retirns the fuel to the tank £25 suid of diesel all over road +
yeah great car s*****t garage
there gettin sued now
