ZX Vocane TD Fuel Filter Housing

Post by charlow »

I have a 1994 ZX Volcane TD.
Can anyone tell me what the rotary leaver does that's on the lower part of the plastic fuel filter and what is its normal position?

What type of filter housing is it ? , from memory you should have the perflux (sometimes nicknamed 'tophat') type arrangement.

The only 'control' on this is the drain screw (originally had a plastic pipe on it but these tend to fall off or get thrown out) , and the 'water in fuel' sensor screwed into the back.

A picture would help greatly if possible to determine what you mean :)
Andy.

I don't have a manual :(

Hopefully someone else will have a picture (or possibly a picture of the fuel filter housing)
Andy.
