Any idea where this is from? It seems to build up even when theres no rain
Love my black v6 xant - only one with cream coloured leather too!

I had a similar problem, it turned out to be partially blocked drain holes in the hatch lid. Do you have water under your boot carpet?
Also worth checking where else you have water. It will cause havoc with your electrics.
Under the front seats there is a place where the front and rear carpets overlap. Stick your hand in there, if it's wet you may well have other leaks too.

I had a leaking scuttle panel that filled my Xantia up... :evil:

If yours is a saloon, one common area for leakage which does then travel into the rear footwells is leaking taillamp seals.

Im speaking from experience and curing the problem.
1993 Citroen xm 2.1td, silver/grey, bowling ball wheel trims, 210k and climbing...

Just the same on the estates. Crap design :evil: but easy fix :)

it sounds like thats what it might be then, i'll have a look at the seals. There isn't water anywhere else. Thanks chaps
