Xantia Pitching & Rolling

Xantia 1996 1.8 auto

Have noticed my Xantia is pitching & rolling excessively when cornering, it's 13 years old, is there anything I can do to reduce this ?

It is hard to tell from your description if your car is behaving in normal Xantia fashion, or something worse.

I think the word 'excessive' answers your question.

what spec xantia? lx sx vsx?
when were the spheres last changed? check the numbers to ensure the right ones are fitted. garages have a nack of getting them wrong.
same with tyres, are they the right side wall rating and inflated properly with plenty of tread?
when did you last perform citrobics or change the lhm and clean the filters?
have you looked underneath with the car securly supported for anything that could be loose?

I'd say flogged out droplinks and swaybar bushes might be contributing.

If the problem suddenly appeared, perhaps one end of a droplink has failed entirely?

You could fit hydractive spheres - trouble is though it would almost stop the suspension moving at all.
