I am an owner of a Brand New C3 Diesel which was purchased yesterday and which had the factory fitted Bluetooth module built in.
Today I have been attempting to connect my Blutooth phone to it, without any success. The Citroen recognises the Phone, (and the phone recognises the Car) but will not allow pairing to take place. This applies equally if the pairing is attempted from the phone.
I have (i believe) followed the instructions accurately.
Does anyone have any ideas

Stupid as it seems try this.
Go to the contacts section of the phone and attempt to send a contact to the handsfree kit. This most likely won't work but it should allow you to pair the phone and kit before it fails.
You should then be able to set the car kit as authorised to make connections on the phone.

I can confirm. The Bluetooth on the Citroen 'finds' the Phone OK. It then asks me to enter a 4 digit code ( I have tried 0000, 1111, 1234 and many others). With other Bluetooth connections the phone then asked me to enter the same code. But nothing happens. The phone does not request a code to 'pair' the two. The citroen takes a few seconds or the message which indicates that the pairing failed.I take it you've entered the four digit code to allow access?
Not tried this yet, but I am uncertain how this can worksend a contact to the handsfree kit

is the phone set to be "visible" to other bluetooth devices?
Also, have a look on here http://www.citroen.co.uk/owner-services/bluetooth/
and see if your phone is listed in the compatible devices.

Thanks ( I think it's thanks !!! ) for the list of compatible phones.
My phone SAMSUNG F480 is NOT amongst them. Certainly the question of compatibility was not mentioned when I was persuded to pay for the Bluetooth module.
The phone is certainly 'visible' the Citroen finds it OK (and the phone finds the Citroen), but will not pair with each other.
There is no problem linking to other items, including my TOM TOM Live

10 months on - New Phone and still no Bluetooth
I now have a new HTC Desire HD phone. Now tried a dozen different phones and none link with the Citroen Bluetooth although each are recognised by the citroen, and the Citroen by the phone
What an utter waste of money

There will be a specific code that you need to enter. The one for our Range Rover is 2121.JayW wrote:

The code that you need will be in the handbook for the bluetooth module. If you enter any other code it will fail to pair.
