Whilst investigating The Other Problem, I noticed that the coolant was low. The owners handbook is no use whatsoever as to the type & I have yet to get a Haynes. I have some which I bought for my dear departed ZX - Comma Xstream Green (Glysantin) is this suitable? Subsequent research shows that renault Glaceol Type D should be used but I can't find what this is. Is it special/unique?
Cheers, Jonathan
BTW coolant appears to be coming out at flywheel end of engine, under loads of plastic. Will investigate further but the pessimist in me thinks it will be a head gasket, unless there's external gubbins waiting to be discovered...

If Stupidity got us into this mess, then why can’t it get us out?

Comma antifreeze
In case anyone else needs to know.
It appears that the Comma XStream Green antifreeze is not suitable for the Clio.
